Once Burned: A Night Prince Novel, Book 1

I like the book so far. No complaints on the narrator. I think the condition of the girl in this type of story is original. I like that we didn't start at the beginning of her journey. She had already known about her condition, just not the extent of it. I liked that we didn't waste time with her having to learn about and be in denial of and eventually accept the existence of different creatures. Yet, there was still much for her and us to learn about them. After reading a lot of these type books, it gets tired waiting half the book for the heroine to figure out or accept the supernatural aspect of the story, before finally getting into the interesting stuff.

The fire wielding vampire part was awesome. So are tge powers she has. The mind reading thing is SO annoying and it's not even my mind being read.

Narrator did well. No complaints. Creative book. Exciting.
